What the randomised control trials have shown

Two randomised controlled trials have put Take Pause to the test. In a peer-reviewed study of 110 adolescent patients in a pediatric emergency department, Take Pause reduced anxiety scores nearly twice as much as iPad distraction, p<0.001. In a second trial at Weill Cornell Medical College, patients using Take Pause during a painful awake procedure showed significantly improved calmness and physiologic signs of reduced pain. 87% said they would use it again.
